Sugar and Snails is a place where we celebrate childhood joys and bring our favourite ideas to life.
We’ve turned our passion for creativity and games into a range we hope will make you laugh, smile and bring many hours of family fun.
We’re a family of five who love to play and don’t mind a makers mess. The dining table is never clear and rarely does a large cardbox box go to waste.
Like many families, our cupboards overflowed with board games when the kiddos were young, but they soon became boring and predictable. Ordinary games were no longer entertaining.
We started playing cards games with them as young as age five. It still surprises us that we could play poker after dinner for hours! What they learnt playing poker was much more fun than how they were being taught maths at school. And what we created made their minds tick in ways that could not be matched in mainstream education.
Games, combined with our love (and professions) in design, naturally led us to develop our own cards and games. When our son was in primary school, he submitted projects nearly every year in games format. The Eureka Stockade, Silk Road and Hot & Cold are all classics we still play. Educational AND fun!
This is what Sugar and Snails is all about. Bringing to life all the fun and learning we had developing interesting ways to spend time together as a family.

Quarter Circles
This very simple idea is easy to take and play anywhere it isn't windy. We cut circles, then quarter circles from kindergarten squares. This is the original inspiration behind our gorgeous Christmas Card range. Amazing where the imagination takes you!

Wholesale
If you are interested in stocking our range in your store as a wholesaler we would love to hear from you!
Please email us at sugarandsnails.hello@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself. Be sure to include the following information:
Store name and location (city, state, region), a short description of your store and what you sell, 2-3 photos of your physical store and space or on-line stores please send us a link to your website.
Orders and Payment
$200 minimum first orders
$100 minimum subsequent orders
Orders over $350 receive free shipping
Payments are required via credit card or bank deposit
All orders must be paid at time of purchase and will not be shipped until payment is received. Orders paid for via bank deposit will be held for two weeks. If payment is not received, orders will be cancelled and restocked.
Dispatch
As you can appreciate, we are a small business and we do our best to have items listed available. Some delays, especially in peak periods, are unavoidable and such delays will be communicated. Standard dispatch is 1.3 days once payment is received.
Shipping
All orders are shipped from Melbourne Australia via Australia Post. And special delivery requests can be discussed and arranged if agreed. Any duties or customs fees are the responsibility of the retailer.
Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges
Cancellations or changes must be submitted via email within 24 hours of placing your order otherwise a 20% restocking fee is charged. Defected products may be exchanged for product or credit. Damaged or defective items must be reported within five days of receipt. Refused packages will be charged full shipping, handling and any other charges incurred. We do not accept returns on unsold products. All returns must be unopened, unused and in original packaging.
Sales
All sales through your physical store and website are allowed. Under no circumstances are our products to be resold on eBay, Etsy or any other third party channel.
